DIGETOP
Description
Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC). Non-sterile.
Medical device that acts quickly against stomach bloating, heartburn, heaviness and meteorism caused by excess gastric acidity and/or associated with dyspepsia, thus promoting the digestive process. Indicated in case of heartburn and pain in the stomach, cramps, borborygmi, feeling of tension, belching and flatulence. The device contains simethicone, which, due to its anti-foaming activity, is used to relieve symptoms attributable to an excessive presence of gas at the gastrointestinal level, facilitating its elimination. In fact, simethicone decreases the surface tension of the air trapped in the mucus and in the food bolus. Excessive gastric acidity that causes symptoms such as heartburn is decreased by the presence of calcium carbonate, potassium citrate and sodium citrate, which neutralize gastric acids through an acid-base chemical reaction.
