Description
Class 2 medical device. Vaginal tablets with application system.
Product indicated:
- As an adjuvant treatment useful for the prevention of preterm birth in the presence of reduced cervicometry or not corresponding to the gestational period.
- As an adjuvant in the prevention of spontaneous abortion and preterm birth.
- As an adjuvant in the prevention of the increased risk of miscarriage associated with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling.
- As an adjuvant in the prevention and treatment of female infertility.
How to use
Remove a vaginal applicator from its packaging foil, taking particular care.
Insert the applicator deeply into the vagina and release the tablet contained within by gently pressing the plunger.
Components
Lactoferrin (300 mg), lubricating and disintegrating compressive agents.
Warnings
The product is for vaginal use.
When the tablet dissolves, it may cause pale pink discharge, due to the natural salmon pink colour of lactoferrin.
Do not ingest.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility to any component of the product.
May contain lactose.
In case of confirmed or suspected pregnancy and in case of concomitant local pharmacological therapies, the use of the vaginal tablet must only take place on the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.
The product is not intended for pediatric use.
Keep the product out of sight and reach of children.
Prolonged use of the product, as with all topical products, may give rise to sensitization or local irritation. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use the product if the packaging, when first opened, is damaged or not perfectly intact.
Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
