Description
Food supplement based on chromium, dry extract of tagetes erecta titrated in lutein and zeaxanthin, alpha-lipoic acid and banaba titrated in corosolic acid.
Property
Alpha-lipoic acid has an antioxidant effect on both lipid and protein free radicals, improves the control of hyperglycemia by promoting the intracellular transport of glucose, reduces the glycosylation process and the relative formation of AGEs (Advanced Glycation End-products) responsible for cellular degeneration.
Corosolic acid (from lagestroemia speciosa) promotes glucose transport with an insulin-like action, limits hunger stimuli (nervous hunger) contributing to body weight control, inhibits adipocyte differentiation, providing further assistance for an adequate lipid profile.
Lutein and zeaxanthin (from teges erecta) neutralize free radicals that form in the eye, also due to light radiation, reducing the risk of developing eye diseases such as macular degeneration and drusen present in patients who are still normoglycemic.
Chromium (chromium picolinate) improves insulin sensitivity, contributing positively to the control of hyperglycemia, decreases food cravings, in particular, promoting the breakdown of fats.
