Description
Deflanil Hemo
Description
Food supplement based on Ruscus aculeatus, quercetin, resveratrol, bromelain, hesperidin, vitamin C, vitamin E and folic acid useful in case of increased need for the nutrients contained, in particular the Ruscus aculeatus extract is useful for the functionality of the hemorrhoidal plexus and vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the normal formation of blood vessels. Vitamin C and vitamin E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Folic acid contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine.
Sedentary lifestyle, consumption of too fatty foods, dehydration, straining during evacuation due to constipation and pregnancy are risk factors that can expose to dysfunction of the venous bed located near the terminal part of the rectum and in the anal area. These vascular structures subject to deformation phenomena that accompany the thinning of the venous walls are commonly known as hemorrhoids. The poor venous return that characterizes this disorder can cause bleeding phenomena and venous prolapse of the anal area with consequent irritation and itching of the perianal area and difficulty in evacuation due to the sensation of pain and burning that worsens can also make sitting difficult. Some substances that can be taken with food or that can be applied locally can be useful in containing the phenomena and manifestations related to these disorders. The phytocomplex of butcher's broom (Ruscus aculeatus) is made up of substances that have interesting phlebotonic properties that prove to be very useful in promoting the functionality of venous circulation and the hemorrhoidal plexus. Polyphenols such as quercetin, resveratrol and hesperidin are substances known for their antioxidant activity that in several studies, reported in the scientific literature, prove to be useful for the physiological function of the entire vascular system. Bromelain is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes extracted from the pineapple stem known for its anti-edema properties. Vitamin C is of particular importance for the circulatory system because it is a cofactor that participates in the synthesis of collagen which is a building block of the blood vessel wall. Vitamin E has antioxidant activity so it helps reduce oxidative stress on cells and folic acid contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. Some studies show how altered levels of homocysteine in the blood are linked to an increased risk for the well-being and functionality of the vascular system, particularly the peripheral one.
