Semi-automatic defibrillator created specifically for non-healthcare personnel, it supports the operator during rescue maneuvers with simple and clear vocal information as well as light indicators. Warnings
Training required for the use of semi-automatic defibrillators. The rescuer must complete a course in the use of the i-PAD. The rescuer must also have completed a course in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) or similar courses approved by the agency responsible for emergency programs.
I-PAD can be used on children between the ages of 1 and 8 years, in which case use reduced energy pediatric paddles. For children over 8 years of age, the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends the use of the "Chain of Survival" and resuscitation sequences used on adults.
