Description
Corneial MED is a lubricating, protective and hydrating ophthalmic solution. Its use gives a prompt sensation of relief, freshness and well-being.
Corneial MED eye drops are indicated to relieve redness, irritation, itching and dry eyes due to: air conditioning or heating, living in smoke-prone or other types of air pollution, prolonged exposure to wind or sunlight, chlorine, salt, sports activities in general, intense study or work commitment, use of contact lenses, foreign bodies, excessive use of video screens and general tiredness.
Corneial MED is also indicated in cases of dry eyes due to blepharitis, trauma and in the post-operative course of surgical interventions on the ocular surface (cataract, refractive, IVT, etc.).
The product contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid and PHMB.
Hyaluronic acid, a natural polymer present in the tear film and in the human eye, is able to relieve irritation of the ocular surface by keeping it optimally hydrated. The cross-linked formula improves the properties of hyaluronic acid, obtaining greater bioavailability and resistance to degradation.
It also contains Polyhexamethylenebiguanide (PHMB), a substance that helps inhibit microbial proliferation.
How to use
Instill one or two drops into each eye by applying light pressure to the bottle.
The product can be used every day, even several times a day, as needed, even when wearing contact lenses.
The use of Corneial MED is simple, safe and free from any side effects, it is suitable for everyone, including children and the elderly.
Components
Polyhexamethylenebiguanide: 0.0003%; cross-linked sodium hyaluronate 0.2%; hypromellose 0.2%; disodium EDTA, borate buffer, sodium chloride, excipients and purified water qs to 100%.
Warnings
The product is for external use only.
Do not use if seal is broken.
Never put the dropper in contact with any surface, including the eye, to avoid contaminating the product.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Do not use in case of specific hypersensitivity to any component.
Keep out of reach of children.
When ophthalmic medicines are prescribed, seek specialist advice on the concomitant use of Corneial MED.
Do not dispose of the vial in the environment after use.
If discomfort or persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a specialist.
There are no known contraindications, unless there are specific allergies to any component.
Conservation
Store the bottle away from heat sources and in any case below 30°C.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
Validity after opening: 90 days.
