CLIN 4000

Class IIa medical device. Powder laxative for oral solution based on Macrogol 4000. It is particularly indicated in chronic constipation; it is also indicated in the case of occasionally irregular bowel movements. Thanks to its affinity for water, it softens the stool, facilitating evacuation. In this way it promotes a sense of well-being and relief. It does not cause cramps, abdominal pain or conditions of urgency. Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
It contains no excipients or flavourings.

How to use
Dissolve the powder by mixing it in any beverage. 10 g of powder should be dissolved in at least 125 ml (increase to 150 ml in pediatric age) of any beverage, even hot, such as tea, herbal teas, milk, broth or fruit juice. The product does not alter the taste of the beverage. Drink the reconstituted solution. It is recommended to take it away from meals.
Due to its safety features, it allows for wide dosing flexibility.
Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg: 10 g, 1-3 times a day, according to individual response. To achieve a faster effect, the maximum daily dose (30 g) can be taken in a single administration. In case of prolonged use, the dose can be reduced to 10 g 1-2 times a day, even every other day, preferably in the evening.
Children up to 20 kg: the dosage should be commensurate with body weight. We therefore recommend using the 200 g bottle of powder with a measuring spoon that allows you to customize the dose based on the child's actual needs until soft stools are obtained. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage of 30 g.

Warnings
Do not take in case of: known hypersensitivity to macrogol; gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding the product must be used under medical prescription.
There are no known interactions with drugs but it is advisable to take the product at least 2 hours after taking oral medications.
Occasionally, abdominal distension and/or nausea may be noted, which resolve with continued use. Rare cases of allergic reactions (rash, urticaria): in this case, stop using the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of overdose, diarrhea may occur which resolves spontaneously with suspension of the product.

Conservation
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.
