The chicory root ( Cichorium intybus ) once collected, washed and cut, is roasted with hot air and then ground. It can be used directly in the moka by filling the filter halfway or by boiling it for a few minutes in water and then filtering. This way you get a pleasant hot drink with a strong taste that does not contain stimulants.
