Flex Night Plus Thermometer

Description
Rectal and oral clinical thermometer.
Detects temperature in just 10 seconds.
The flexible tip offers high comfort when taking temperature measurements.
The large bright display and silent mode allow you to view the temperature even at night without waking the child.
The thermometer and its probe can be cleaned using a cotton swab soaked in alcohol or disinfectant solutions. The probe is waterproof. The instrument is not waterproof, do not immerse it or allow water or other liquids to enter. Never use abrasive detergents, solvents or benzene: these may damage or contaminate the thermometer casing.

How to use
1. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button
2. The following messages will appear on the display in order: "Last measurement" (e.g. 36.0°CM/96.8°FM) » "Lo°C/Lo°F" with °C/°F flashing to indicate that the measurement has started;
3. Position the thermometer:
a. Oral Use (10 sec.): Place the tip of the probe in the lower part of the mouth, under the tongue and close the mouth.
b. Rectal Use (10 sec.): Insert the tip of the probe into the rectum for a few mm (no more than 15 mm). If resistance is felt during this operation, stop immediately. To measure the temperature of the newborn rectally, lie him on a hard surface on one side and move the legs towards the chest, holding him still so that he cannot turn during the measurement. Remember that the internal body temperature is always slightly higher than the external one (about 0.5°C). Do not use ointments or Vaseline on the tip.
4. An acoustic signal indicates that the measurement has been made. The display lights up for a few seconds to make it easier to read the temperature. FEVER INDICATOR: If the temperature is ? 37.8 °C (? 100.0 °F), the acoustic indicator emits a sound and the sad face icon appears.
5. If the message Lo°C/ Lo°F is displayed, the thermometer has measured a temperature lower than the minimum value of the measuring range. If the message Hi°C/ Hi°F is displayed, the thermometer has measured a temperature higher than the maximum value of the measuring range. In these cases, we suggest checking the correct positioning of the thermometer and repeating the measurement. If the message "ERR" appears, the thermometer is having problems: contact Consumer Services.
6. After the measurement, turn off the thermometer by pressing the button (if it is left on for a while, it will turn off automatically after about 10 minutes). If the message "ERR" appears, the thermometer is having problems: contact Customer Service.
PRECAUTIONS FOR AXIAL MEASUREMENT
Since it is a direct measurement and robbery thermometer, it is recommended for rectal and oral use. If it is necessary to take an axillary measurement, take these precautions to allow the axillary temperature to stabilize:
-make sure your armpit is dry;
-place the tip of the turned-off thermometer and press your arm against your body, remaining in this position for approximately 60 seconds before taking the measurement;
- proceed with the measurement as indicated in the "Directions for use" paragraph.

Warnings
Clean and sanitize the probe before and after each measurement.
Keep in a safe place out of reach of children, it is not a toy.
Never leave your child alone while taking their temperature.
The thermometer contains small parts (batteries, etc.) that can be swallowed by children and lead to suffocation or internal injury.
Any use on subjects with reduced cognitive abilities or on children must be done under the supervision of an adult: during temperature measurement, the tip of the measuring probe could become dangerous if it were to come close to the eyes.
The thermometer is intended exclusively for measuring body temperature.
In case of impacts, falls or if you have doubts about the operation of the product, contact the distributor.
Do not try to adjust the thermometer.
If in doubt or if your temperature rises, consult your doctor.
After use, store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from dust.
The thermometer, after its first use and between subsequent uses, must be stored under temperature and humidity conditions that meet the limits specified for transportation and storage conditions.
Correct positioning of the thermometer is essential for accurate temperature readings.
Avoid drinking hot or cold beverages, exercising, taking a bath or shower, and smoking for 15 minutes before taking the measurement.
