Description
Compression stocking for postoperative antithrombotic prophylaxis and internist bed rest.
Carefully controlled pressure on the tissue and veins promotes the return of venous blood to the extremities and improves lymphatic circulation. At the same time, microcirculation and therefore tissue vascularization and drainage are improved.
The product is intended for patients of any gender who have been prescribed a stocking for individual compression therapy by a competent physician or qualified healthcare professional. The recipients also include categories of users in healthcare professions who apply the products to the patient.
How to use
Use only on bedridden patients. To easily put on and take off the stockings, it is recommended to wear special gloves. Long, pointed nails and rings with sharp edges can damage the product.
To make the procedure easier, make sure your legs are dry. Slide the stocking evenly over your heel. Do not pull the stocking up, but distribute the stitches evenly over your leg with gloves. Check from time to time that the stocking is correctly positioned on the toe and heel. To protect the seam and the stay-up edge, when putting on the compression stocking, carefully grasp the stitches and not the seam. If necessary, correct the position of the stocking by lifting the stitches again with flat hand movements and making sure that they are evenly distributed.
To remove the product, grasp the top edge of the sock with gloves and pull the sock down to the heel. Slide the stitches over the heel with flat hand movements.

Polyamide, elastane, polypropylene.
Product care
Follow the care instructions on the packaging and/or product label. Wash the socks in the appropriate washing bag.
Warnings
Do not wear medical compression stockings in the following cases:
• advanced peripheral arterial disease (if one of the following parameters applies: ABPI <0.5, ankle blood pressure <60 mmHg, toe pressure <30 mmHg or TcPO2 <20 mmHg measured on the dorsum of the foot);
• decompensated heart failure (NYHA III + IV),
• septic phlebitis;
• massive deep vein thrombosis (Phlegmasia coerulea dolens).
Relative contraindications requiring a special risk/benefit assessment:
• marked moist dermatitis;
• intolerance to the compression material
• severe disturbances of sensation in the extremities;
• advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. in case of diabetes mellitus);
• chronic primary polyarthritis.
If used incorrectly, medical compression stockings can cause skin necrosis and pressure sores to peripheral nerves.
In case of sensitive skin, compression materials can cause itching, flaking and inflammatory signs, so appropriate skin treatment is advisable.
Do not cut any protruding threads inside the sock.
Protect your compression stockings from ointments, oils and greases to help prolong their life.
Compression stockings should not be worn on open wounds.
Products with a self-supporting edge: regularly expose the skin to air.
Failure to follow the warnings may compromise the safety and effectiveness of the product.
All serious events occurring in relation to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority.
Conservation
Store the product at room temperature, in a dry place and away from light. Protect from direct heat sources.
