Alternative to breastfeeding for mothers who wish to feed their babies expressed breast milk.
- Allows newborns to maintain their natural sucking behavior learned at the breast.
- Newborns can feed, breathe and take breaks regularly.
- Supports easy transition from breast to feeding solution and vice versa.
- A single measure is sufficient for the entire breastfeeding period, just like in nature.

With this product, children do not have to change their natural feeding behavior. Both when breastfeeding and with the product, milk leaks if the child applies vacuum.
Intended for breastfeeding of healthy full-term infants. Not recommended for use with formula.
How to use
- Follow cleaning instructions.
- Do not use Calma when you are sleeping or too sleepy.
- This is a single-patient product. Use by multiple people may pose health risks.
- Use only drinking water for cleaning. - Do not clean the product with sharp or hard objects such as brushes, toothpicks or sharp nails.
- If you use a dishwasher to clean it, the components may become discolored. This does not affect the operation.
- To avoid contamination, do not touch the inside of the components after cleaning.
- Store in a clean, breathable bag or container, or in a clean, breathable cloth or paper towel until next use.
- For hygiene reasons we recommend replacing the product after 3 months.
After each use:
- Disassemble the product into its individual components.
- Rinse all components with cold water (approximately 20°C), then clean them gently with plenty of warm soapy water (approximately 30°C). Rinse again with cold water (approximately 20°C) for 10-15 seconds.
- Dry all components with a clean cloth or let them dry on a clean cloth.
- As an alternative to the previous operations, you can clean the product in the dishwasher. In this case, place the components in the upper basket or in the cutlery compartment.
Operations to be performed:
- Express and store breast milk (see storage guidelines).
- Assemble the product as described below.
- Warm the breast milk in a milk bottle with the Calma multifunctional cap attached. You can apply the product to any "Medela" bottle. Warm the milk to a maximum temperature of 37 °C.
- Place the product on the bottle just before starting to administer the milk.
