Food supplement based on lutein and zeaxanthin in drops for eye health. FloraGLO Lutein, contained in BuonaLux, is made up of micronized crystals of lutein (extracted from Tagetes erecta) with certified safety, quality and efficacy. The non-esterified form of lutein is the one with a better absorption profile in the body. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two carotenoids that accumulate in various areas of the body, in particular in the retina of the eye, in the macula lutea and in the crystalline lens, where they play an important functional role in addition to preserving the well-being of the eye. Lutein and zeaxanthin are not synthesized by the body but are taken from natural sources.
