Description
BBmilk
Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with minor gastrointestinal disorders such as colic, abdominal distension and constipation, which may occur in the first months of life.
The formulation of BBmilk DG is able to improve the consistency of the stool, thanks to the presence of galactooligosaccharides (GOS) and beta-palmitate. It promotes less gas formation in the intestine, thanks to the reduced lactose content. In addition, hydrolyzed whey proteins facilitate faster gastric emptying.
BBmilk DG also contains 2'-fucosyllactose (HMO) and nucleotides.
BBmilk DG is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to the 6th month of life, in cases where they cannot be breastfed. After the 6th month of life, or in any case starting from weaning, BBmilk DG is suitable for inclusion in a diversified complementary diet and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. Weaning must be started only under the advice of a pediatrician.
