Description
Suitable as the sole source of nutrition for the particular diet of infants from birth to the 6th month of life, in the case in which they are not breastfed. From the 6th month onwards, and starting from weaning, it must be part of a diversified diet and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. Weaning must be started only under the advice of the Paediatrician.
BBmilk AR should only be used under the supervision of a doctor.
BBmilk AR powder is a food for special medical purposes, specifically indicated for the treatment of confirmed pathology of the gastroesophageal junction. The formulation of BBmilk AR powder contains carob seed flour, a natural thickener that increases its viscosity. It is a denser food than other infant formulas and a teat with holes of an appropriate size is recommended. BBmilk AR powder is suitable for feeding infants from birth up to the 12th month of life.

Fresh pasteurized milk at 3.2% fat, demineralized whey powder, vegetable oils (high oleic sunflower, rapeseed, sunflower, coconut), maltodextrin, thickener: carob seed flour, milk lactose , mineral salts (potassium chloride, tripotassium citrate, trisodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium carbonate, zinc sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, copper sulphate, manganese sulphate), oil derived from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. (contains DHA), vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, niacin, biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin K, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin B6), Lipocal (calcium phosphate, emulsifier: soy lecithin), Lipofer (corn starch, ferrous pyrophosphate, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin), choline bitartrate, inositol, taurine, emulsifier: soy lecithin, nucleotides (cytidine-5'-monophosphate, uridine-5'-monophosphate, adenosine-5'-monophosphate, inosine-5'-monophosphate, guanosine-5'-monophosphate), L-carnitine.

How to use
Preparing the bottle
- Before preparation, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring;
- Boil the necessary amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 70°C;
- Fill the measuring cup with level, unpressed product;
- Add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder to the bottle;
- Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder;
- Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the temperature of the milk must not exceed 37°C.
After use, wash and dry the measuring cup thoroughly.
INDICATIVE FEEDING TABLE (unless otherwise indicated by the pediatrician):
*The progressive reduction in the number of milk meals accompanies the beginning of weaning.
The quantities are indicative and may vary at the discretion of the Pediatrician depending on the age and appetite of the child. A level measuring cup of BBmilk AR corresponds to 4.5 g equal to 22.6 kcal.
The reconstitution of BBmilk AR is 13.5% and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder to every 30 ml of water.
Warnings
Improper preparation and storage may cause infant health problems or risks. Follow the instructions carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtime and to consume it within two hours.
- Do not heat or boil milk once prepared.
- Do not reuse any milk left over after the meal.
- Use only the measuring cup contained in the package.
Conservation
The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere. Shelf life: 24 months.
Store in a dry place, away from heat sources.
Once opened, the package must be closed correctly and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator); the product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
