Liposomes are lipid spheres that allow the protection and subsequent release of Apo-lactoferrin. Apo-lactoferrin (form of lactoferrin without iron) is more active than lactoferrin itself (5 times) because the bond with iron occurs in the open form of the apo-protein, allowing easier access to Fe 3+ or complexed ions.
Lactoferrin is an iron-chelating protein and is involved in numerous biological mechanisms. It has an iron-transporting action, belongs to the transferrin family and is widely studied for its multiple beneficial effects. However, Apo-lactoferrin is unstable by nature and is particularly sensitive to the proteolytic action of pepsin at the gastric level and to the proteolytic hydrolysis of pancreatin at the intestinal level.
This results in protein denaturation, poor absorption and inactivation. ApoLact TDC, thanks to its modern microencapsulation technology, overcomes these problems and is the first advanced formulation that allows to guarantee the effectiveness of the glycoprotein.
Ingredients
Each 550 mg capsule contains 100 mg of lactoferrin.
How to use
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily.
Maximum dose: 2 capsules per day.
