Description
Food supplement based on nattokinase, a fibrolytic enzyme extracted from a traditional Japanese food called natto and obtained from the fermentation of soybeans, with beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system.
- The active ingredient of Natto NFCP is nattokinase, a protein belonging to the bacillopeptidase family. When secreted, this protein has a high molecular weight but, through self-cleavage processes during fermentation, extraction and purification, it self-digests, giving rise to active forms with a lower molecular weight. The active ingredient is therefore made up of multiple peptide fragments, all deriving from the initial bacillopeptidase F, which maintain their own activity, similar to that of the original protein and which, together, constitute the nattokinase enzyme.
- Natto NFCP does not act as a medicine, as it does not directly affect blood viscosity and does not directly dissolve any clots but increases the effectiveness of the body's natural control mechanisms; this means that this natural supplement does not have the negative side effects on blood clotting that can instead occur with the use of thinning drugs such as acetylsalicylic acid.
- Furthermore, NATTO NFCP has low levels of vitamin K2, which is naturally present in abundance in natto, making the product highly compatible with treatments involving the use of anticoagulant drugs such as warfarin, whose activity is not reduced. - The raw materials used are GMO free and not irradiated.
