αLipoic Acid
Thioctic acid is a vitamin-like substance produced by the human body that plays a key role in cellular energy metabolism. It is an important enzymatic cofactor within the Krebs cycle, therefore it directly promotes energy at the neuronal level and is responsible for the recovery of cellular function. Alpha lipoic acid has some particular characteristics that make it not only extraordinarily effective as an antioxidant, active on both water- and fat-soluble free radicals, but also absolutely essential for the body to counteract the damage associated with their formation. Its action is further enhanced if combined with a multivitamin complex, especially vitamins of the B, C, E groups and trace elements such as Selenium.
Lutein
