Excipients
Mannitol (E421), Sodium alginate (E401), Xanthan gum (E415), Potassium bicarbonate (E501), Calcium polycarbophil, Sodium carbonate anhydrous (E500), Potassium acesulfame (E950), Magnesium stearate (E470b), Mint flavour, Sucraloe.
Dosage
Smokers of 20 cigarettes or less per day (NiquitinMint 2 mg) :
- Abrupt cessation of smoking: take 1 lozenge in response to a strong desire to smoke .
- Use daily 8-12 tablets , up to a maximum of 15 per day .
- Continue use for a maximum period of 6 weeks to stop smoking.
- Stop the treatment When daily consumption it is reduced to 1-2 tablets .
After suspension : As a post-treatment support, it is possible to take 1 tablet in situations of strong temptation to smoke .
Warnings
- The risks associated with the nicotine replacement therapy (TNS) are outweighed by the known dangers of continued smoking.
- Patients with unstable cardiovascular conditions should seek non-pharmacological interventions before considering NiQuitinMint.
- For patients with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, allergic reactions, renal/hepatic insufficiency, pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism: evaluate the risk-benefit ratio with a specialist.
- Gastrointestinal disorders : Use with caution in patients with esophagitis, gastric or peptic ulcer.
- Seizures : Caution in subjects on anticonvulsant therapy or history of epilepsy.
- Danger for children : Nicotine products must be kept out of the reach of children.
- Quitting smoking : Quitting smoking can affect the metabolism of some medications.
- NRT addiction : rare and easier to break than smoking addiction.
Conservation
- Do not store at temperature above 25°C .
- Store in the original packaging to protect the product from humidity.
