Description
Short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
CONTRAINDICATIONS/SIDE EFFECTS:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Laxatives are contraindicated in subjects with acute or unknown abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, intestinal obstruction or stenosis, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, severe dehydration status.
Generally contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
DOSAGE:
ADULTS AND CHILDREN: 1 suppository per adult as needed or as prescribed by a doctor.
Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days.
Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor's prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case.
INTERACTIONS:
No interactions with other medications or other types of medications have been reported.
If you are using other medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Occasionally: isolated cramp-like pain or abdominal colic, more frequent in cases of severe constipation.
