VULNAMIN SPRAY
Adjuvant in healing processes.
It is a medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC MDD. It is intended to promote the restoration of the moist microenvironment in particularly dry wounds while assisting the cleansing and granulation phase of uncleansed skin lesions.
Interactive dressing based on sodium hyaluronate and collagen constituent amino acids, in a fluid gel formulation, aimed at promoting the formation of granulation tissue and tissue regeneration. It also facilitates wound cleansing.
Vulnamin spray protects the integrity of the skin, being used in the early stages of lesions with a preventive effect on their evolution. In skin lesions of various origins, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and the formation of granulation tissue, and therefore the regeneration of the lesion area. Vulnamin spray also reduces the inflammatory infiltrate and, at the same time, stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen.
The versatile formulation of Vulnamin spray allows its use even in areas that are difficult to reach and particularly painful on contact. Application on skin that is not yet ulcerated but with signs of ulcerative evolution, promotes the maintenance of a protective microenvironment on the integrity of the skin itself. In the treatment of skin ulcers of various origins, with slowed healing, lesions with medium or low exudate, both cleansed and colonized, whether flat or cavity-shaped, Vulnamin spray facilitates cleansing and assists the recovery of tissue repair. Do not use on frank infection. In colonized lesions, combine a secondary antibacterial dressing.
How to use
Spray Vulnamin spray on the skin affected by pre-ulcerative lesions 1 or 2 times a day. Vulnamin spray is also indicated in ulcerative skin lesions without necrosis and infection (red phase). The interval between dressing changes depends essentially on the state of the wound. The dressing change must be commensurate with the exudation of the wound; it is recommended to change it every other day or, at most, every three days. Wash and cleanse the lesion and spray an adequate quantity of product, using the most appropriate dressing for the state of the lesion as a secondary dressing.
Components
Purified water, sodium hyaluronate, glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine HCl, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate sodium salt, propylene glycol, tetrasodium EDTA.
Warnings
Remove any foreign material from the wound by spraying saline from the inside of the wound outwards. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the dressing. After thoroughly cleaning the area to be treated, gently dab the wound with gauze to remove excess blood. If the injury does not require further intervention, after cleaning the wound, apply Vulnamin spray as described in the instructions for use.
It is contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. There are no known phenomena of overdose. There are no known side effects. There are no known interactions with drugs and medicinal substances. Although there are no known side effects in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding it is advisable to carry out the application according to the doctor's judgment. Vulnamin spray is a product characterized by good tolerability; occasionally burning sensations may occur, due to the hypertonicity of the product which characterizes its effectiveness in cleansing. This sensation tends to resolve spontaneously.
The expiry date refers to the closed and correctly stored product. Product intended for external use. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not sterilize. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. The use of drying materials in combination with Vulnamin spray is not recommended. Keep out of reach of children. In case of adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Conservation
Vulnamin spray should be stored at a temperature between 8° and 30°C. Do not store in the refrigerator. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
