RHIZO POD
Description
A brace designed to limit the range of motion of the first finger. Useful, for example, in cases of:
- moderate or severe rhizarthrosis;
- thumb tendinopathies;
- metacarpophalangeal distortions;
- Bennett fracture outcomes;
- Stener lesion;
- De Quervain's disease;
- post-operative arthroplasty;
or hemiarthroplasty for rhizoarthrosis;
- fractures of the base of the proximal phalanx of the first finger.
How to use
1. Put on the elastic glove by passing your thumb through the appropriate hole.
2. Open the Velcro strap of the rigid brace and slip it on, overlapping it with the glove already worn. To check the correct positioning, make sure that the logo on the rigid brace is visible on the back of the hand.
3. Close the Velcro strap following the circumference of the wrist.
4. Fold the excess of the glove over the thumb onto the shell.
Hand wash.
NOTE: normal hand wash at a maximum temperature of 30° with neutral soap. Rinse thoroughly
Warnings
- Use on intact skin.
- If there are wounds, protect as directed by medical professionals.
- Do not use if the material is worn, broken or damaged.
- The packaging and instructions are part of the medical device.
