Description

Finger-wrist splint, moldable to maintain flexion of the metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints. The medical device provides immobilization and effective treatment of long finger injuries.
Can be used in palmar or dorsal position.
Fixed distal and proximal straps and two repositionable intermediate straps.

How to use
Open the four straps. Place the injured finger on the splint along with the longest adjacent finger. Close the strap at the end of the fingers and the end of the wrist. Tighten the middle straps, one around the fingers and the other around the hand. These two straps can be repositioned along the Velcro fasteners.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, it is recommended to shape the splint to achieve flexion of the metacarpophalangeal joint of 60°-70°, flexion of the proximal interphalangeal joint of 10°-20°, and extension of the distal interphalangeal joint.
Washing
Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
Components
100% polyamide.
100% aluminum cue.
Warnings
It is advisable, the first time, to have the product positioned by a qualified operator and to independently carry out subsequent positioning using the same methods.
Do not prolong use of the product without the advice of your doctor.
The product is designed for use by a single person, do not use it on multiple people.
The product should not be used in direct contact with damaged skin.
When adjusting the straps, tighten them so that they are firm but comfortable.
The brace should not be used if relative or absolute immobilization or surgery is required.
If you experience any problems using the product such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional.
In case of serious accident following the use of the product, contact the manufacturer and the competent local healthcare professional.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from excessive heat and light.
