BIVALVE ANKLE BRACEDirections:
- functional treatment of second degree sprain injuries;
- functional recovery phase surgical/conservative treatment of ligament ruptures (third degree sprain trauma);
- functional recovery following malleolar fractures (treated surgically/conservatively);
- prevention of relapses during sports activities.
How to use:
- open all velcro straps.
- Make sure the internal padding is well fixed to the plastic structure.
- Place the heel cup underneath your heel, so that the rounded part of the heel cup faces the forefoot.
- Position the valves medially and laterally to the ankle; if necessary, adjust the width of the heel cup using the appropriate Velcro straps, adapting it to the width of the heel.
- Close the brace by tightening the Velcro straps: first the one closest to the ankle, then the upper one.
- Inflate/deflate the padding until you achieve maximum comfort and hold.
Characteristics:
medical device that allows effective control of pronation-supination, allowing a wide joint mobility in flexion-extension. The ankle support function is guaranteed by a graduated compression. Thanks to the inflatable padding, the adaptation to the specific anatomy of the patient and the comfort are continuously renewed. The small dimensions facilitate its use in the different phases of functional recovery and in the resumption of sports activity.
