Ecological clinical instrument made of glass, flat and elongated shape with internal graduated scale and a column containing a mercury-free liquid composed of a mixture of Gallium, Indium and Tin, similar to mercury but non-toxic. Latex-free product.
Device commonly used in hospital and home settings for detecting body temperature in adults and children.
How to use
Disinfect the bulb with alcohol or other disinfectant before use. During the measurement, remain in the same place/position until the end of the measurement. The measurement lasts approximately 4 minutes, the detected temperature will be displayed along the glass column. For axillary measurement, place the bulb in the center of the armpit in a stable position, do not move the arm until the end of the measurement. For rectal measurement, gently insert the bulb into the rectum, avoiding movements until the end of the measurement. For oral measurement, place the thermometer under the tongue in a stable position and close the mouth firmly. Remain still until the end of the measurement. The thermometer has been calibrated by the Manufacturer and no subsequent calibrations are necessary.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, avoid direct exposure to sunlight and atmospheric agents. Do not measure temperatures other than body temperature. In the event of liquid leakage following accidental breakage, remove the liquid with a damp cloth or other suitable material.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
