Glycerol suppositories 2,500 mg for adults.
Short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
It moves and lubricates the fecal mass and facilitates its expulsion with an emollient effect.
Components
1 suppository contains 2,250 mg of glycerol; sodium stearate and sodium bicarbonate.
How to use
The recommended dose is 1-2 suppositories as needed within 24 hours.
Remove the suppository from the aluminum case and insert it completely into the anus, inserting the pointed part first.
Warnings
Consult your doctor before taking the following medical device during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged, or after the expiry date shown on the packaging. Keep out of reach of children.
Suppositories should not be used in cases of acute or unknown abdominal pain.
In particularly sensitive patients or in cases of previously inflamed mucosa, irritation of the rectal mucosa may occur.
Conservation
Suppositories should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources; if necessary, hold them under cold water before removing them from the aluminum case.
Validity for intact package: 60 months.
