Description
Single-use medical device based on macrogol 4,000 and honey for rectal use in enema. It is indicated in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation in cases of intestinal irregularity.
Macrogol 4,000 is a polymer with lubricating and emollient properties, which exerts a laxative action thanks to its mechanism which consists in attracting water into the stool, softening it, increasing the volume of the intestinal content and promoting peristalsis and evacuation. Honey with Its mucus-like properties allow it to attract water at the rectal level, thus performing an emollient and humectant action.
Treatment of constipation, especially when it manifests itself in a stubborn form and creates considerable discomfort and malaise in the patient.
How to use
Remove the rectal cannula included in the package from the protective sachet.
Remove the screw cap and screw the rectal cannula onto the bottle. Hold the bottle and gently insert the cannula into the rectum, then press the bottle firmly. It is expected that some solution will remain in the bottle. Once administration is complete, remove the cannula and discard the empty bottle.
Remain lying down until you urgently need to evacuate.
Use 1 enema when needed or as directed by your doctor.

Functional substances: PEG 4,000 and honey.
Warnings
Do not use if there is hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. Do not use for prolonged treatments. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results and in case of persistent constipation it is important to consult your doctor to exclude other pathologies. The enema is disposable, therefore each bottle must be used for a single administration. Use for a maximum of 30 consecutive days. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from direct light.
