SANIPEG
Macro Goal
Symptomatic treatment of constipation
Description
Symptomatic treatment of constipation. Promotes peristalsis, helping to have an adequate intestinal evacuation, thus counteracting constipation by preventing the formation of fecalomas. Macrogol is a high molecular weight, water-soluble inert polymer that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake, retaining it in the feces. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. Accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electrolytic imbalances, if taken with the indicated dose of liquid.
Composition
Macrogol, sucralose.
How to use
The measuring cup must be filled level and not pressed, removing the excess powder with the blade of a knife. Use only the measuring cup contained in the package. The measuring cup must be used only for the purpose of measuring the powder.
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
2 to 10 level measuring spoons per day. The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on individual responses to treatment, to allow regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 10 measuring spoons per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml for each measuring spoon) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose (2 measuring spoons per day) is to be taken. For larger doses, divide between morning and evening. If no improvement is noted after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
Children aged 2 to 12 years:
The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, in order to allow regular evacuation of soft stools. The maximum dose required does not normally exceed 4 measuring spoons per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml for each measuring spoon) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if 1 measuring spoon per day is required. For larger doses, divide the intake between morning and evening. If physiological intestinal regularity is not restored after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.
Warnings
For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children it is recommended to seek medical advice. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
Format
Jar containing 300g of powder for oral solution with measuring cup.
