Description
Saginil in
Vaginal cannulas
Description
Medical device normalizing the reactivity of the vaginal mucosa. It is useful in the treatment of symptoms of mucosal hyper-reactivity induced by the use of antiseptics during vaginitis and by maneuvers of positioning of contraceptive systems. It is particularly indicated in the control of vaginal symptoms following the use of anti-estrogenic drugs for the adjuvant treatment in women affected by breast cancer.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas intervenes in maintaining the morpho-functional integrity of the vaginal mucosa to counteract the triggering and amplification of the sequence of tissue events that characterize, at a local level, mast cell hyper-reactivity.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas is also able to control the recurrence phenomena that frequently occur following vaginitis of different etiologies.
How to use
In case of treatment for vaginitis, it is recommended to use one cannula every other day (preferably in the evening) for 10 or 20 days or as indicated by the specialist. In case of treatment in women on anti-estrogen therapy, it is recommended to use one cannula per day until symptomatic alleviation or remission. The product can be used in association with ongoing pharmacological treatment.
1) Wash your hands thoroughly. Before first use, unscrew the tube cap, twist it and use the pointed part to pierce the aluminum seal. Do not use if the seal is broken.
2) Remove a cannula from the protective wrapping and screw it onto the mouth of the tube, taking care to keep the two components aligned.
3) Press on the tube to fill the cannula with gel until it is completely full, i.e. until the piston stops.
4) Unscrew the cannula from the tube and replace the cap on the tube.
5) To apply, lie down, gently insert the tip of the cannula deep into the vagina and empty the contents by slowly pushing the piston all the way in. Remove the cannula and discard it after use.
Warnings
Avoid contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly in case of accidental eye contact. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. The product is not indicated for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Use preferably by the date indicated on the package.
Saginil in vaginal cannulas does not interact with pharmacological treatments commonly used in the treatment of vaginitis; for its simultaneous use, consult your doctor. During the treatment period, the use of the detergent Saginil Intimate Detergent is recommended.
