Description
One-piece medical device indicated for urine collection, with an anatomical shape and large containment capacity.
The barrier is composed of 2 layers: the primary layer in contact with the peristomal area has been designed to ensure a pH buffering effect, resistance to erosion and skin-friendly properties, the secondary layer is designed to protect the underlying layer. The plate, oval shaped with 6 mm of convexity in the center and a centered cutout hole.
The bag with tap and multiple chambers has the following features:
- opaque: coated in water-repellent TNT on both sides;
- EasiView control window: a slit in the TNT that allows the patient or nurse to check the stoma and facilitates its correct positioning in the bag;
- self-supporting hydrocolloid protective barrier with 6 mm soft convexity, oval shape. The protective barrier has differentiated thickness (decreasing from the center to the edges) to promote flexibility and adaptability to the contours of the body;
- colored tab for easy removal and cutting guide for easy preparation and application;
- rectangular anti-odor and anti-gas filter, positioned inside the bag at the top right, protected by a medical membrane;
- Multiple Chamber Internal Structure: Maintains Shape and Prevents Sloshing for Maximum Discretion and Comfort During Use;
- anti-rustle, anti-odor laminated film, soft and delicate in contact with the skin;
- TNT (non-woven fabric) lining on both sides or only on the body side in the transparent article, it is soft, breathable, does not retain moisture and dries easily. Skin color for greater discretion;
- internal shaped anti-reflux device, holds urine in the lower part of the bag. Functional in any position;
- elastic, easy-to-fasten belt flange combines maximum comfort with greater safety;
- patented drain valve, with optical and tactile opening indicator, large diameter, safety lock and integrated safety drip-saving cap. Safe, practical, discreet and functional, it allows you to adjust the flow to the desired speed and ensures fast drainage even in the presence of mucus;
- 3 anti-twist adapters, with pressure connection, easy and safe to use to connect the urine bag;
- anti-bulge points that prevent the upper part of the bag from swelling.
How to use
It is recommended to keep the bag in place for 14 to 72 hours.
Composition
The plate is composed of:
- first layer: polyisobutylene, polymer thickeners, styrene isoprene styrene, polyethylene;
- second layer: polyisobutylene, pectin, carboxymethyl cellulose, styrene isoprene styrene, polyethylene;
- transparent and writable protective film in Polyester;
- dermoprotective hydrocolloid barrier made of Polyisobutylene, Pectin, Carboxymethylcellulose, Styrene Isoprene Styrene, Polyethylene;
- skin environmental friendliness and lack of toxicity have been documented in a wide range of biological tests, including the primary skin irritation test, the cumulative human skin irritation test, the sensitization test, cytotoxicity tests and toxicity tests after systemic and intracutaneous administration.
The bag is made up of:
- water-repellent TNT PE coating;
- multilayer plastic film: EVA/PVDC/EVA- anti-noise and anti-odor.
The filter is composed of the following parts:
- activated carbon + deodorant function activators with active surface;
- medical membrane.
The convex insert is made of white/clear molded plastic composed of 18% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
