Description
The Natura+ open-bottom bag is a two-piece collection device.
On the bag there is a circular flange equipped with an interlocking rail. This structure allows, thanks to the 8 teeth, the hermetic attachment to the relative plate in an agile and safe way.
The bag is equipped with a filter and is mainly indicated for ileostomy patients who want a safe and easy to apply, remove and empty device. In addition, the exclusive InvisiClose closure system, without rigid closing clamps, allows to maximize comfort, hygiene and ease of use.
On the outside, the bag has an inspection window.
The flange attachment allows for maximum airtightness and safety against infiltration. There are two plastic tabs on the bag flange to allow the use of the abdominal belt. The soft, water-repellent lining ensures comfort and discretion and allows the skin to breathe.
The filter allows effective and long-lasting deodorization of gases. A special seal allows for total occlusion, useful for example during bathing or showering.
The InvisiClose closure system, being made of completely waterproof and washable material, allows the device to be emptied easily and completely hygienically whenever necessary. A light pressure on the ends of the white wings on the bottom of the bag allows for easy emptying of the bag which can, if desired, be folded into the special Lock-it pocket.
Contains no latex.
Technical information :
The system consists of two parts:
- Skin barrier, to be left on the abdomen for approximately 2 days.
- Collection bag, to be replaced when necessary.
The size of the bag with the bottom flat is: 28.2 cm in length and 15.2 cm in width, while the length with the bottom folded is 19.5 cm.
The bag is equipped with an advanced activated carbon filter in the form of a compound that allows the release and deodorization of intestinal gases. The presence of an internal protective film and the position of the filter, centered and high with respect to the bag, prevents any contact with the effluents.
The bag, opaque in color, is covered on both sides with a TNT sheet, and there is an inspection window on the outside: this allows constant monitoring of the contents of the bag, always ensuring maximum discretion. The bag has a symmetrical shape and is covered with a soft TNT sheet welded at the edges.
The exclusive InvisiClose locking system is composed of:
- semi-rigid staggered fins in washable plastic material (7.1 cm wide).
- washable plastic velcro closure system.
- Lock-it pocket into which the bottom of the bag can be folded.
