FFP2 Mask
Description
The MM-4 Personal Protective Equipment is a respirator made of 4 layers with highly technological materials in non-woven fabric, melt-blown and hot air cotton intended to protect the respiratory tract from: non-oily droplets and particles, oily particles and dust. The respirator model is without a valve.
The mask is a Category III Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It complies with the requirements of the Harmonized Standard "EN 149:2001+A1:2009 - Respiratory protective devices; Filtering half masks against particles; Requirements, testing, marking". Based on the standard, the respirator is a Category III PPE and class FFP2 NR (NR = non-reusable).
The mask can be used in environments with a lot of dust and fines produced by machinery that processes coal, iron, raw minerals, quartz or machinery that processes cotton, flour and other materials.
The filtering action makes the device effective for protecting the respiratory tract from aerosols - very fine droplets.
Each respirator is unisex, one size fits all and packaged in a single screen-printed bag containing a user manual with a declaration of conformity.
The device also has the manufacturer's logo, the model, the CE mark with the number of the certifying body, the reference standards together with the acronym FFP2 NR printed on the fabric.

How to use
1. Open the device using both hands making sure the nose bridge is on the outer side at the top.
2. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, positioning it under your chin with the nose bridge facing upwards.
3. Bring both elastic bands behind your ears.
4. Using your fingertips, push the nose bridge from the outside to the inside of your nose. During this phase of testing the mask, the user may experience a reduced oxygen flow.
5. Before entering the work area, perform breathing tests to check for leaks or drafts in the mask.
5.1 Place both hands on the mask and inhale deeply, taking care not to change its position. If the user experiences negative pressure inside the mask, this is normal. If the user feels air leaks around the nose, repeat mask positioning steps 1 through 4.
6. If there are no oxygen leaks or spills then you can proceed to enter the contaminated area.

Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
