SenSura Mio Convex Flip
plate
This is an adhesive plate, with a mechanical attachment system for SenSura Mio ileostomy, colostomy and urostomy bags indicated for the collection of waste that comes out of the stoma.
They have 4 slots for attaching a special BRAVA support belt.
The adhesive, designed thanks to BodyFit Technology, is elastic, of new conception and made up of two layers; it has the shape of a five-petal star and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety and protection of the skin:
- in the upper layer the special network structure incorporates small hydrocolloids: in contact with the excretions it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, with high resistance to erosion.
This creates a protective seal that reduces the onset of infiltrations together with the maintenance of the correct skin humidity gradient, promoting tissue repair.
- in the lower layer the network structure incorporates large hydrocolloids that guarantee excellent absorption capacity and the creation of a moist environment that promotes tissue repair. The polymer network, softer here, allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin while offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
This layer is innovative and has a composition designed to ensure elasticity, so that the adhesive can best follow the movements and shapes of the body;
- in the part closest to the stoma the adhesive is equipped with a ring that gives stability and support to the stoma;
- The sticker has a simple cutting guide: the cutting circles are soft, there are different cutting sizes with strong contrasts for users with poor vision, the circles do not intersect.
The product has a turquoise colored adhesive removal tab for greater visibility, and an easy-grip thumb grip.
Warnings
This is a medical device pursuant to Directive 93/42/EEC - class I - non-sterile.
No contraindications.
Valid for 3 years from date of production.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components and therefore does not require special disposal protocols.
Do not dispose of in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Conservation
We recommend storing in the original intact packaging away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15° and 30°.
