CUTTABLE CONVEX BELLOWS PLATES
The Natura convex plate is a plate with convexity, created specifically to manage introverted stomas. It consists of a central trilaminar adhesive disc composed of: an upper and lower layer in Durahesive Technology and an intermediate layer in polyethylene film, surrounded by a support of adhesive non-woven fabric. The support ring is surrounded by a flexible microporous adhesive plaster entirely covered by a thin layer of hydrocolloid in contact with the skin. A circular flange equipped with a bellows mechanism and an interlocking rail is fixed to the adhesive. This structure allows for a completely atraumatic and safe attachment and an airtight seal. In this way, it is guaranteed that the bag does not accidentally detach from the plate while ensuring, at the same time, the seal against any infiltration of odors or effluents.

External size 11.2 X 11.2 cm; flange 45 mm; cuttable hole 13-22 mm.
External size 11.2 X 11.2 cm; flange 57 mm; cuttable hole 13-35 mm.
External size 13.4 X 13.4 cm; flange 70 mm; cuttable hole 13-48 mm.
Bellows structure composed of:
pink plastic flange
Bellows made of a transparent plastic film (EVA Ethylene - Vinyl - Acetate) that can be stretched (accordion mechanism) up to 1 cm.
Each plate is individually packaged in a shaped blister.
(°) Total skin barrier composed of inert and non-irritating hydrocolloidal substances: gelatin, pectin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyisobutylene.
When the Durahesive adhesive comes into contact with the effluent, it swells, absorbing the moisture and forming a characteristic collar ("turtle neck effect") around the stoma, protecting it from contact with the effluent and prolonging the time the device remains in situ.
The special convex insert creates a mechanical action that allows the stoma to extrude and facilitates the effluent discharge directly into the bag. The peristomal skin is thus protected from contact with waste and from risky skin irritation.
The bellows structure, which allows the comfortable insertion of the fingers to attach the plate and bag, is completely atraumatic. This advantage facilitates its positioning for the healthcare worker during hospitalization, for the caregiver or for the patient himself once at home.
The thin hydrocolloid microporous patch makes the barrier flexible and particularly suitable for abdominal profiles that have folds or skin imperfections, ensuring maximum comfort and freedom of movement. Finally, the presence of hydrocolloid powders guarantees adhesion in a humid environment, therefore, the barrier maintains its adherence to the skin even during bathing or showering.
