pyralder
warts freeze
Description
Quick home treatment that effectively removes warts from hands, arms and feet. It is the first home treatment with nitrous oxide, an extremely cold gas. Thanks to Ultra Freeze Technology it freezes the wart at -80 °C and reaches the deepest layers of the wart.
It works at a very low temperature (-80 °C) which remains during application. In an in vitro temperature test involving several freezing devices for home treatment, it was shown that this is the coldest home freezing treatment; it is also the most effective. In fact, in a clinical efficacy study, it was found that after treatment with Pyralderm verruche freeze, warts were eliminated in at least twice as many subjects compared to competing products. (Clinical study to demonstrate the comparative efficacy of a cryogenic treatment - medical device - in the management of common and plantar warts, Pharmscan, Poland, 2017).
Pyralderm warts freeze is a fast and easy to use high-tech device. The treatment is suitable for adults and children over 4 years of age.
How to use
BEFORE CARRYING OUT THE TREATMENT, READ THE FOLLOWING STEPS
ACTIVATION: only on first use Pyralderm verruche freeze needs to be activated only once. Do not remove the cap. Turn the white part making a complete turn in the direction of the arrow until you hear a loud click. A certain amount of force is required. After activation, if successful, never repeat this step.
1. CHARGING: Before each use, it is necessary to charge Pyralderm warts freeze with cold gas. Place Pyralderm warts freeze upright on the table, with the transparent cap at the bottom. Hold the device firmly. With the other hand, press the white part of the device downwards for exactly two seconds. Pressing longer would waste doses unnecessarily. Pressing less, reduces the cryogenic effect.
2. CHECK: Remove the clear cap and use the product immediately. Ice vapor should be visible. If not, repeat step 1. LOAD.
3. TREATMENT: Immediately and firmly press the tip against the wart. Timing is crucial for a great result. 15 seconds on thin skin (hands, fingers, toes, tops/sides of feet and arms), 40 seconds on thick, calloused skin (soles of feet). After use, replace the cap and refrigerate. The wart will gradually disappear over 10-14 days. If it does not disappear within 14 days, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
The hard skin over the wart makes it more difficult to freeze with Pyralderm warts freeze. For best results on foot warts:
- soak the affected area in warm water until the skin is soft;
- gently remove the skin that overlaps the foot warts towards the inside, for example with tweezers;
- make sure the wart and surrounding skin are completely dry before treatment;
- do not file the wart itself; it may soften initially and form a new hard surface.
Using Pyralderm warts freeze causes a tingling sensation and the skin may be sore or irritated. These effects should disappear after a few hours. Immediately after treatment the treated area will turn white. After some time the skin will return to its normal color and the wart will appear red. Within a few minutes or a few days after freezing the wart, a blister may form, occasionally filled with blood. This is a normal result of the freezing process and usually indicates that the treatment has been successful. Do not try to burst the blister. If necessary, protect it with a sterile bandage or, if the blister is damaged, disinfect it properly. The treated wart will slowly disappear after 10-14 days. However, it may take longer for the wart to disappear completely.
If the wart is on the sole of the foot, it may be painful to walk on. To make it less painful, apply a round plaster to the area.
Do not attempt to manually remove the treated area or try to pull off the wart.
Keep the treated area clean and disinfect it if necessary. This is important to avoid infection of the treated skin.
Bathing and showering are permitted immediately after treatment.
Pyralderm warts freeze is very effective: the core of the wart is quickly reached and destroyed due to the cold temperature.
Usually, one treatment is sufficient. Old or large warts may require more than one treatment, especially if they are on the soles of the feet. The wart will slowly disappear after 10-14 days. If the wart, or part of it, does not disappear within 14 days, you will need to repeat the treatment and steps 1, 2 and 3.
If a wart does not go away after 3 treatments, see your doctor.
Consult your doctor:
- if the treated subject (including the child) reports unexpected side effects;
- if the wart does not disappear;
- if the wart has not disappeared after 3 treatments.
What to do if the device is empty or broken:
- if after activating and charging the device you do not see any frost or ice vapor, it is possible that the gas has run out, use a new Pyralderm warts freeze;
- if there is a continuous hissing sound after activating the product and all the gas is used up, the device is broken. Do not attempt to open or repair it yourself, even if you think it is empty, return the product to the pharmacy.
Warnings
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Possible side effects include:
- Blisters (possible blood blisters) around the treated area, which varies from case to case.
- The skin loses its color, a condition commonly called "depigmentation."
- Minor burns and scar formation.
- Risk of skin/nerve damage (in case of overexposure).
- Transient sensation of discomfort (tingling, pricking sensation).
Do not use Pyralderm warts freeze:
- on children under 4 years of age;
- on the face, groin, genitals, scalp, mucous membranes;
- on healthy skin (without warts);
- on warts located on sensitive skin and pay particular attention when the treatment is localized on areas with thin skin (for example around the joints);
- if the wart and/or the skin around the wart is bleeding, broken, irritated, itchy, infected or red;
- if you are not sure whether the wart has had a common growth, consult your doctor before use;
- on moles, calluses, blisters, other skin blemishes or any other skin condition that might be suggestive of skin cancer (melanoma);
- on fluid-filled skin blisters (called "molluscum contagiosum") or on any other blister or vesicle;
- on diabetic people or people with circulation or blood clotting problems;
- on warts that appear in clusters or are more than 3 cm close together: treat one wart and wait 14 days before treating the next.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor if you can use this device.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Do not inhale. For external use only. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Do not apply for more than 15 seconds on thin skin (hands, fingers, toes, tops/sides of feet and arms) or more than 40 seconds on thick, calloused skin (soles of feet). Overuse or misuse may cause pain and skin or nerve damage.
Pyralderm warts freeze should be used by an adult when treating warts on children.
Nitrous oxide is a non-toxic and non-flammable gas, but may contribute to combustion in a fire. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames, hot surfaces. Do not smoke or use near an open flame.
Pressurized container. May burst if heated. Do not pierce or incinerate the charger even after use. Device is pressurized and cannot be opened.
Conservation
Before first use, store in a cool, dry place (between 5 - 25°C). Protect from sunlight. Do not store in the freezer. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C. Do not store in a car, caravan or other heated place. An increase in temperature will damage the device and permanently deactivate it.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
After each use, replace the cap and store in the refrigerator, this will give Pyralderm verruche freeze a longer shelf life and increase the number of useful doses. Do not store in the freezer. Do not expose the activated device to temperatures above 35°C, as this will activate a safety feature and permanently disable the device. Wait two minutes after use, discard the disposable tip and insert a new tip. Pyralderm verruche freeze is now ready for the next use. If cleaning the plastic parts of the device, use a damp cloth only.
By charging for 2 seconds before application, the device is sufficient for up to 7 doses.
Shelf life in the refrigerator after activation: 2 months.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Dispose of the empty product in accordance with current regulations regarding the disposal of urban waste.
