PEGinpol is a medical device in powder form for extemporaneous oral suspension useful in the treatment of constipation.
PEGinpol is particularly indicated in chronic constipation and in cases of occasionally irregular bowel movements.
How to use
From 6 months to 2 years (up to 12 kg): 0.8 g of product per kg of body weight per day.
From 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 1 g of product per kg of body weight per day.
Above 11 years (or > 20 kg): 10-30 g of product per day (5-15 level scoops).
The dose may be increased or decreased depending on individual response to treatment.
The most appropriate daily dosage for each age group should be decided based on the child's weight and the severity of the constipation.
In any case, it is advisable to seek the advice of your doctor for the most correct dosage.
Use the product in pediatric age only after medical advice.
The maximum necessary dose does not normally exceed 30 g of product per day.
Based on the dosage indicated above, take the quantity of product using the measuring cup equipped with notches that allow you to measure the product.
Dissolve the powder in water, considering, for each level measuring spoon (equal to 2 g) of powder, approximately 1/4 glass of water (approximately 25 ml).
Drink the reconstituted solution.
It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations.
It is recommended to take PEGinpol away from meals.

Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.
It is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the feces in unchanged form.
Warnings
The oral suspension must be prepared at the time of administration.
It is recommended not to take larger quantities than indicated, as higher doses may cause the onset of unexpected side effects.
For periods of use exceeding 30 days, it is advisable to interrupt treatment with PEGinpol for at least 3-5 days.
Do not take if intolerant to the product.
Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components and to Polyethylene Glycol.
Do not use in children under 6 months.
During treatment with PEGinpol it is advisable to follow an adequate diet accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration; however, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Keep the inside instructions with the product.
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in the original packaging.
The expiry date indicated refers to the product correctly stored in intact packaging.
Do not use the device after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not use if package is damaged.
