Description
CE medical device, class IIa, based on hyaluronic acid, citicoline and vitamin B12. OMK2 is an ophthalmic solution with 0.2% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, obtained by biotechnological synthesis. Hyaluronic acid gives rise to mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solutions, useful for improving the stability of the tear film, thus keeping the ocular surface lubricated, hydrated and protected. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid-based solutions are able to establish a microenvironment favorable to the repair processes of the ocular surface in cases of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelia. The presence of citicoline in OMK2 provides useful and favorable structural support in restoring the integrity of cell membranes damaged even by degenerative ophthalmic diseases (e.g. glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy). Finally, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) promotes the growth of corneal epithelial cells, protects cells from the action of free radicals and is an important element for maintaining the correct functionality of the ocular surface.
The moisturizing and protective properties of OMK2 provide ocular relief in the case of irritation, burning and foreign body sensation due to environmental factors or prolonged use of a video terminal. OMK2 indirectly promotes the physiological processes of corneal re-epithelialization after ocular surgery, laser or small abrasions of the corneal surface.
How to use
Instill 1 drop of OMK2 2-3 times a day, as needed.

Hyaluronic acid; citicoline sodium salt*; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12); sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate; sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate; sodium chloride; benzalkonium chloride; water for injections.
Warnings
Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use in case of incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not touch the eyes with the tip of the container. After administration, temporary blurred vision may occur. It is therefore advisable to wait a few seconds before undertaking any activity that requires visual clarity. Wait 10-15 minutes after use before instilling drugs for external ophthalmic use. The product must be used within 30 days of first opening the bottle. Keep the preparation out of the reach and sight of children. The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not disperse the bottle in the environment after use.
Conservation
Store below 25°C.
Validity for intact package: 36 months.
Validity after first opening: 1 month.
