Protective, lubricating and highly hydrating solution, particularly suitable for sensitive eyes.
The action of sodium hyaluronate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid) makes it ideal in the case of non-traumatic and non-pathological alterations of the eyes and helps protect and lubricate the ocular surface.
Aloe vera, thanks to its soothing properties, helps to relieve eye fatigue and restore the homeostasis of the ocular surface.
Hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the body, is a substance with high viscoelastic properties and, like tears, is capable of modifying its viscosity based on the friction applied, increasing and improving ocular lubrication.
Thanks to its ability to incorporate water molecules, it helps to replenish and stabilize the tear film.
They are medical devices and not drugs
For safe ocular self-medication, sterile, biocompatible, preserved, isotonic, isosmotic, buffered at pH 7.2.
They are natural
They do not contain additives, preservatives, chemical disinfectants, therefore they do not have the contraindications and limitations of chemical products.
They contain fluid extracts of medicinal plants
Fluid extracts are obtained by distilling medicinal plants with ethyl alcohol (a more expensive but much more effective technique) and not by distilling them with water (very cheap, less concentrated and therefore less effective). The fluid extract guarantees a natural disinfection, while the aqueous extract requires a chemical preservative/disinfectant.
They can be used up to 90 days after opening.
Unlike many competitors that have a maximum use of 20/30 days. For this feature and the lack of chemical preservatives, the single-dose format is not necessary.
They can also be used with contact lenses worn
They are not aggressive because they do not contain chemical substances (example: benzalkonium chloride) and are always well tolerated, effective, unlike many competing products which, due to the content of chemical substances, can damage the polymer of the lens.

Thanks to their natural and delicate composition, they are not recommended only in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
Sprays are used on open or closed eyes
The special certification of class B products allows the sprays to be used on open eyes through a nozzle that is designed to administer a light micro-nebulization.
Use on the open eye is particularly effective as it allows for rapid absorption of the active ingredient and provides an immediate soothing, hydrating and refreshing effect; it also guarantees administration in the correct quantities.
Oftamed's sprays are still effective even when used with the eye closed.
