Folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 :
Folic acid intervenes in the process of cell division: being implicated as a cofactor in the formation of DNA, it comes into play every time a cell divides. This function is of particular interest at the level of rapidly regenerating tissues. Folate contributes to the normal synthesis of amino acids and to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy: this allows for correct development of the fetus. In particular, the supplemental intake of folic acid increases the maternal folate status. Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, also supporting the physiological formation and maturation of blood cells. Folic acid also intervenes as support for the normal function of the immune system and for normal homocysteine metabolism. Homocysteine is a substance physiologically present in the body but whose accumulation can cause various problems. Many studies report that conditions of high blood concentration of homocysteine should be considered as a possible cardiovascular risk factor. EXTRAfolate-S :
It is the calcium salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid. It is an active form of folic acid that does not require any enzymatic transformation to be absorbed and has been shown to have greater stability and bioavailability. Folate taken during pregnancy contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. Folate also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Vitamin D3 :
It contributes to the normal absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus and intervenes in the process of cell division. Nosifol-D contains 5 mcg of vitamin D3, equivalent to 100% of the recommended daily dose (RDA).
Zinc :
It is an essential component of a large number of enzymes in which it can act as a cofactor, constitute the catalytic site or play a structural role. Zinc helps maintain healthy bones, skin, hair and nails, as well as the proper functioning of the immune system. Zinc contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction.
