Description
Normalene Stop Gas is indicated in the treatment of symptoms related to swelling of the stomach (aerophagia) and intestine (meteorism) due to the accumulation of gas.
It relieves cramps and pain associated with this problem and prevents flatulence and belching.
The action of the product is due to the anti-foaming action of simethicone, combined with the adsorbent action of charcoal on intestinal gas. The bilayer conformation of the tablet allows for the release of approximately 50% of the ingredients in the gastric environment within 15 minutes of intake, while the complete disintegration of the tablet occurs in the intestinal environment within an hour.
The components are not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and do not interfere with the absorption of nutrients.
Ingredients
One tablet of Normalene Stop Gas contains: Simethicone 50 mg, Carbon 300 mg.
Excipients: maltodextrin, sucrose, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, colloidal silica, croscarmellose sodium, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, glycerol behenate, silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate.
Gluten and lactose free.
How to use
Do not use under 14 years of age.
Adults : it is recommended to take 1 or 2 tablets at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 4 tablets per day.
Children aged 14 to 18 years : 1 tablet at the end of each main meal up to a maximum of 2 tablets per day.
Warnings
Do not use the product before 14 years. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take after the expiry date printed on the package. Do not use if the package is damaged. Each tablet is for single use only and must be removed from the package immediately before taking it. Do not take partially used tablets (crushed or broken) or tablets removed from the blister at unknown times, as this improper use could lead to a risk of contamination of the product. Do not use in the presence of gastric or intestinal lesions. Do not use in the case of intestinal blockage. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take the medical device only if necessary and after consulting a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose as larger quantities may cause the onset of adverse effects. For periods of use exceeding 30 days, it is recommended to stop treatment with the product for at least 3-5 days. Do not take in case of intolerance to the product. Do not take in case of known hypersensitivity to the components.
Side effects : at the recommended doses, a brown coloration of the stool may be observed due to the presence of charcoal. This phenomenon is completely normal and does not imply any pathological significance. No known medium/long-term side effects have been reported. The device does not negatively affect sensory abilities (level of attention, ability to drive or carry out activities).
Conservation
Store the tablets in the blister in a dry place, away from direct light or heat: remove the tablets only when in use. Store the device below 25°C.
