NEBIAL 3% VIALS
Nebial 3% vials is a 3% hypertonic saline solution with added hyaluronic acid ready to use.

The 3% saline solution, contained in Nebial 3% vials, is useful for decongesting the nasal mucosa and has a fluidifying effect on the mucus; it is recommended for daily cleaning of the nasal passages especially in case of colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and in all situations of congestion of the nasal mucosa. The hyaluronic acid contained in Nebial 3% vials promotes humidification of the nasal passages and makes the saline solution more pleasant.
Nebial 3% vials has a decongestant action on the nasal mucosa as well as a fluidifying effect on the mucus. It helps drain secretions and is therefore useful for maintaining the cleanliness of the nasal passages especially in cases of colds, allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis and sinusitis; in general it helps to clear a blocked nose, improving breathing. The solution contained in the single-dose vials can be used for aerosol therapy.
Ingredients
Sodium chloride; sodium hyaluronate; potassium phosphate dibasic; potassium phosphate monobasic; water. Contains no preservatives.
How to use
To use Nebial 3% vials correctly you need to:
- detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the cap;
- keep your head tilted to one side (never backwards), gently insert the tip of the bottle into the upper nostril and press lightly;
- repeat the operation in the other nostril after rotating your head to the other side.
When using the solution for aerosol therapy, it is recommended to follow the instructions on the device.
It is advisable to respect the following frequency of use:
- infants: instill a few drops in each nostril, several times a day, generally before feeding or before going to sleep.
- children: 1-3 washes per nostril, 2-3 times a day.
- adults: 2-4 washes per nostril, 2-3 times a day.
Warnings
The solution is not for injection. Use the product only for its intended use. In children under one year of age and in case of concomitant drug therapy, use under medical advice. In case of adverse reactions, stop using the product and contact your doctor. Do not use in case of known incompatibility or allergy to any component of the preparation. If using the aerosol solution, it is recommended to follow the instructions for the device. After use, immediately close the vial: the contents of the vial must be reused within the next 12 hours after first opening. Do not use if the container is damaged. Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Keep the internal instructions together with the product.
Storage methods
The product must be stored away from light and heat sources.
