Paraben-free hydrocolloid gel indicated for the treatment of dry or moist localized wounds.
It indirectly stimulates wound healing by regulating the microenvironment.
To be used on chronic or acute injuries such as:
- superficial burns,
- excoriated skin,
- surgical wounds,
- bedsores and open ulcers on the legs.
Latex free.
Carbopol 680 NF
Transparent acid polymer that can swell and bind to water. It can absorb 2-3 times its own weight in fluid. The evaporation of the absorbed fluid explains the feeling of freshness after application.
Tinosan SDC Citric Silver
The first stabilized silver complex, derived from an electrochemical process of metallic silver with citric acid. Broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Effective against both saprophytes and pathogenic microorganisms.
Liquid and solid PCL
A mixture of two fatty esters, it has a semi-occlusive action. PLC revolutionizes the concept of waterproofing wounds, creating a system of integral protection and breathability. An innovative solution that prevents water from entering the wound, ensuring the ability of any exudates to breathe. An ideal microclimate is created inside the wound for the tissues, which remain protected and free from bacteria. Keeps the skin soft and fl exible.
Carnosine
Carnosine (beta-alanyl-L-histidine) is a dipeptide of the amino acids beta-alanine and histidine. It acts as an antioxidant. It produces increased hydration and swelling of the hydrogel.
How to use
Closed wounds:
clean and disinfect the area to be treated, apply the product to the wound without touching it, with the spray bottle; if necessary apply gauze or a bandage.
Open wounds:
clean and disinfect the wound, dry gently and carefully, apply a thick layer (0.5 - 0.75 cm) of product on the wound.
Apply gauze or a bandage and leave the dressing in place for 1 to 3 days until the gel is completely absorbed.
Reduce application as a crust forms on the wound.
In case of burns do not apply immediately as a first aid measure, immediately spray the wound with warm running water for about 20 minutes. This operation must be done as quickly as possible since the beneficial effect decreases and disappears 30 minutes after the event.
To avoid the risk of hypothermia, the use of cold water is not recommended, especially when the burn covers a large area.
Use the product only after having duly assessed the severity of the burn.
