Description
Mellin Polilat 2 is a follow-on dietary formula for special medical purposes for the infant diet in case of allergies to cow's milk proteins. Mellin Polilat 2 is based on extensively hydrolyzed whey proteins. Mellin Polilat 2 contains a proprietary blend of GOS/FOS (0.8 g/100 ml), LC-PUFA (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids) and nucleotides.
Indicated after the 6th month up to the 12th month.

How to use
Before preparation, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring.
Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of at least 50°C.
To obtain a well-leveled measuring cup after filling it, remove the excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife.
Add level scoops of powder following the directions in the average feeding table. Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder.
Cool the bottle by placing it under running water, so that the milk reaches a temperature of approximately 40°C.
Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.

The table is indicative, the dosage can be modified according to the opinion of the Pediatrician, based on the needs of the infant. The reconstitution of Mellin Polilat 2 is 14.4% and is obtained by adding a level measuring spoon of powder (about 4.8 g) every 30 ml of water.
Warnings
Mellin Polilat 2 must be used only under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally.
It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtime and consume it within half an hour.
Do not heat or boil milk once prepared.
Do not reuse any leftover milk.
Use only the measuring spoon contained in the package.
Important: Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant and should be encouraged and used as long as possible.
The product should not be used as a substitute for breast milk in the first six months of life and is intended as part of a diversified diet. The beginning of weaning must occur only following the indications of the Pediatrician.
Follow the directions carefully. Inadequate preparation and use may pose a risk to the infant's health.
Conservation
Once opened, the package must be closed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
Consume within one month of opening.
