Description
MAQUI 500
Description
Food supplement based on maqui for the activation of energizing processes, the regulation of cellular metabolism, against free radicals, therefore with anti-aging action. Maqui 500 is a unique supplement for dose and quality: each tablet contains 500 mg of freeze-dried maqui fruit with antioxidant power equal to 70,000 mcmol of TE/100 g of the ORAC scale (see certificate available on the website www.proeon.it), a value equal to more than double that of the maqui berry; it is chewable and can also be taken sublingually. The demonstrated activities of Maqui, in accordance with international literature, are:
-antioxidant, anti-free radicals, therefore against inflammation and cellular aging ("inflammaging") (1- 7);
-activity on the cardiovascular system, reducing the level of some lipids in the blood, controlling blood sugar and improving blood flow (3-5, 7-9);
-indirect contribution to body weight reduction (2, 3, 7);
-positive interaction in degenerative brain and eye diseases (3, 10);
-antidiarrheal and intestinal flora regulating activity (11);
-protection of the skin from photoaging and strengthening action on the hair (3);
-improvement of bronchopulmonary conditions in smokers (12);
-stimulation of the immune system (1, 12).
