Description
Medical device in spray powder that creates a protective barrier, adjuvant for the treatment of wounds, ulcers, abrasions, minor burns, skin lesions with exudate, diaper rash, sweat macerations and superficial traumatic lesions. Also indicated in the dressing of post-surgical wounds and the stump of the umbilical cord. The device forms a protective film-forming barrier against microbial aggression, promoting the restoration of normal physiological conditions for rapid healing. The barrier function is given by the association of kaolin with hyaluronic acid. Kaolin absorbs excess exudate from the wound, while hyaluronic acid promotes tissue hydration. The application does not require medical personnel.
How to use
Before use, clean the skin with saline solution and dry thoroughly.
Shake the bottle well before dispensing.
Apply a thin layer of powder only to the affected area, spray from a distance of approximately 10 cm.
Do not massage, the powder must form a continuous protective layer.
Renew the dressing 1 or more times a day in the treatment of diaper rash or submammary rash, burns and superficial traumatic wounds. Renew the dressing every 48 hours in case of lesions for which the dressing requires the intervention of medical personnel.
For open lesions, use greasy gauze as a secondary dressing and sterile gauze as a covering.
Components
SCX-powder (silicon dioxide functionalized with silver ions and chlorhexidine), kaolin, silica, sodium hyaluronate; propellant: butane-propane mixture.
Warnings
For external use, do not ingest.
Do not use if package is damaged.
Do not sterilize.
Close the package carefully after use.
Do not use after expiration date.
Discontinue treatment if any abnormal skin reactions occur and inform your doctor and the manufacturer.
Pressurized container, may burst if heated.
Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Use only for intended purpose. Do not direct toward eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C or above 50°C. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition.
Do not smoke. Use only in well-ventilated areas. If swallowed or sprayed into eyes, seek medical attention or a poison control center immediately and provide the product information on the label.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
