Medical device for vaginal administration.
Adjuvant treatment in inflammatory, atrophic and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa, such as cervicitis and ectropion. Due to its moistening action, INFECTVAGIN is indicated following physical treatment (DTC, Laser Therapy, Cryotherapy) or in cases of vaginal dryness in post-menopause, even in the presence of blood oozing.
INFECTVAGIN®, thanks to its gelatin (hydrolyzed collagen) and Equisetum arvense extract content, creates the conditions to promote healing and re-epithelialization processes, while PHMB and lactic acid allow the restoration of the physiological vaginal pH, thus counteracting the proliferation of pathogenic germs.
How to use
Insert an ovule in the evening. Remove an ovule from the blister, separate the two edges of the package, remove the ovule and insert it deeply into the vagina.
Components
One ovule contains: hydrolyzed xollagen, Equisetum arvense glycolic extract, polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), lactic acid, glycerin, purified water.
Warnings
All the operations described must be carried out delicately, avoiding compressing the egg. The product that presents an excessive softness, resulting from exposure to a heat source, does not lose its characteristics; however, it is advisable to place the egg in the refrigerator for the time necessary to reach the desired consistency.
The product must be administered exclusively vaginally. In clinical tests the product has been shown not to be sensitizing. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue administration of the product and consult your doctor.
Polyhexamethylenebiguanide (PHMB) is considered a rare contact allergen, with a sensitization rate of 0.5% in an unselected population. Discontinue administration immediately if allergic contact dermatitis reactions are noted and consult a physician.
Keep out of reach of children.
Known individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Use during pregnancy or for long periods must be carried out under medical supervision. Do not use the product if you are known to be hypersensitive to polyhexamethylenebiguanide or similar substances.
Conservation
Store the product away from heat sources, at a temperature below 25 °C. After use, do not dispose of the container in the environment.
Do not use the product after the expiration date.
