Active ingredients
100 g of ointment contain Active ingredient: ammonium sulfoichthyol 10 g. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
Excipients
White Vaseline.
Therapeutic indications
Inflammations and small skin infections. Furunculosis (pimples), abscesses and superficial ulcerations of the skin. Inflammations of the sweat glands (hidradenitis).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Dosage
Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the part to be treated, 2–3 times a day, covering with gauze.
Conservation
Store the container tightly closed in the original packaging away from light.
Warnings and precautions
Do not apply near the eyes or on mucous membranes. Avoid exposure to the sun and UVA rays after application. The use, especially if prolonged, of local medicines can give rise to irritation or sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment.

Side effects

Overdose
If used in excessive quantities it can be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In the absence of specific studies, the medicine should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if necessary and under direct medical supervision.
