Complementary feed for cats. Herpless powder (based on L-Lysine) is indicated as a complement to the usual therapies in case of Herpes Virus infection in cats (FHV-1) of any age. It is advisable to use it, in association with specific therapies, as early as possible in kittens affected by clinically manifest Feline Herpes Virus infection. It can be effectively used, alone or in association with specific therapies, also to reduce the severity and frequency of recurrent or relapsing forms.Ingredients
Maltodextrin; additives per kg: amino acids, their salts and analogues: L-Lysine hydrochloride 500 g; anti-caking agents: Colloidal silica E551b 10 g.
Analytical components: moisture 3.0%; crude protein 40.0%; crude oils and fats 1.0%; crude ash 1.0%; crude fibre 0.5%.
How to use
Mix Herpless powder with the usual ration of wet food according to the following daily dosage:
- Acute Feline Herpes Virus Infection:
Kittens up to 6 months: 1 level scoop (equivalent to 250 mg of L-Lysine) 2 times a day.
Adult cats: 2 level scoops (equivalent to 500 mg of L-Lysine) 2 times a day.
- Recurrent or relapsing forms of Feline Herpes Virus:
Kittens up to 6 months: 1 level scoop (equivalent to 250 mg of L-Lysine) once a day.
Adult cats: 2 level scoops (equivalent to 500 mg of L-Lysine) once a day.
In case of exclusively dry feeding, slightly moisten the food to allow good adhesion of the powder and its complete intake. It is advisable to carry out a 30-day administration cycle, according to the Veterinarian's instructions.
