Description
SHEATH
for incontinence
Description
Non-sterile Class I medical device.
The urinary incontinence sheath is used for urine collection in male patients with incontinence. It easily and securely attaches to any leg or bed urine collection bag.
The sheath, made of natural latex, has been designed to adapt while maintaining its elasticity and softness throughout its length.
The knurled cap is designed to eliminate the possibility of the drainage system twisting on itself, resulting in blockage of urine flow and leakage or "ballooning" of the sheath.
How to use
Application of the sheath:
1. Wash your hands with soap and water.
2. Clean and dry the penis and shave off excess pubic hair; do not use talcum powder or creams.
3. Remove the protective film from the double-sided tape from one side only.
4. Apply the spiral band around the penis and remove the second film.
5. Place the sheath on the penis, taking care to leave a space between the glans and the sheath tube to facilitate the flow of urine.
6. Unroll the sheath over the double-sided tape and apply light pressure to make it adhere well.
7. Connect the sheath to the urinary bag.
Removing the sheath:
1. Disconnect the sheath from the urine bag.
2. Rewind the sheath along the entire length of the penis.
Components
Natural rubber latex.
Warnings
It is recommended to replace the sheath every 24 hours. Perform scrupulous local hygiene before application. Do not over-tighten the double-sided tape to avoid circulatory problems. In the rare cases of possible sensitivity to latex products, consult your doctor. Non-sterile product, not sterilizable. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from dust and harmful materials.
Validity of intact packaging: 36 months.
Format
M: 25mm diameter;
