Medical device made of gel composed of polyethylene glycols.
Apply to lips and adjacent skin areas. For topical use on intact skin only. Regular use may help reduce the frequency of cold sores.
How to use
To prevent infections, gently apply lipivir with your fingertip twice daily to the lips and adjacent skin areas.
For hygiene reasons, you should wash your hands thoroughly before using lipivir. Apply only a small amount for the first three days and monitor for any side effects.
Warnings
Do not use lipivir if you suspect hypersensitivity or allergy to polyethylene glycols. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use and pay particular attention to personal hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly before and after use. It is intended for external use only and should not be ingested. Furthermore, lipivir cannot be used for ophthalmic use. Close the tube after application. Keep out of the reach of children. Serious incidents must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authorities.
