Fluistar A
Description
Medical device for inhalation use based on propolis and plant extracts of grapefruit, echinacea, thyme and sodium chloride 2.0%. Fluistar A is a ready-to-use solution for aerosol, pale yellow in colour, slightly hypertonic, sterile.
Fluistar A is indicated in acute and chronic conditions of the upper respiratory tract, particularly of the rhinosinusal and nasopharyngeal district.
Ingredients
Grapefruit seed dry extract (Citrus paradisi), echinacea dry extract (Echinacea angustifolia) titrated in echinacosides 0.6%, wild thyme dry extract (Thymus serpyllum), freeze-dried propolis dry extract (Propolis) titrated in galangin 2.5%, sodium chloride 2.0%, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, sodium sulphate dibasic dihydrate, maltodextrin, purified water qs to 100 ml.
How to use
In acute conditions such as rhinosinusitis, whether allergic or infectious, we recommend 2 inhalations per day for a minimum of 5 consecutive days or until symptoms improve. We also recommend repeating a 5-day cycle in patients at risk of allergic or infectious manifestations even 4 weeks after treatment for prophylactic purposes. In chronic conditions, we recommend carrying out treatment cycles for a minimum of 5 consecutive days per month for at least 4-5 times during the year or according to medical prescription. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices (piston, ultrasonic, etc.) and nasal douches. Fluistar A does not contain preservatives and is also suitable for frequent and prolonged use.
1) Bend the single-dose container in both directions and detach it from the strip of 5 containers to which it is welded.
2) Shake the single-dose container lightly before use.
3) Twist and break the container cap.
4) Apply moderate pressure to the walls of the single-dose container, dispense the solution according to the indicated quantity and insert it into the nebulizer bottle (aerosol device).
5) Ready to use solution, do not dilute.
6) The solution in the container is for single-patient use and disposable.
7) Any residual solution in the container or nebulizer bottle after use must be discarded.
Warnings
Before use, carefully read all the information contained in the leaflet. The product is for inhalation use only, do not ingest. Do not use the product if the containers are not perfectly intact. Keep out of reach of children. Before opening the container for administration, it is recommended to thoroughly clean your hands. Before starting the therapy, it is recommended to blow your nose. When placing the product in the ampoule, do not touch other surfaces with the dispensing end of the container. Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even a single component of the formulation. In case of disorders such as bronchospasm or cough during use, immediately stop treatment and consult a doctor. The administration of drugs for inhalation use at the same time as the Fluistar A solution must be carried out under medical supervision and must be carried out some time after the use of the Fluistar A inhalation solution. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Once the container has been opened, immediately pour out the contents and do not reuse the residual contents. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C and place it inside the case.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
